The information provided below is to help our current tenants know who to reach out to for utilities on their residence. Note that the information may change, as such it is intended to be an FYI, not a guarantee on who to contact.
Please note for water & sewer bills, the City Water & Sewer Departments will require the following:
You must provide a valid photo ID with you when you go to setup billing
You must take a signed copy of your lease with you when you setup billing
They will require a deposit when setting up the billing (usually around $130)
Their billing is 30 days after usage. As such, you typically will have one additional bill post a move out date.
For stick/debris/Leaf pickup (not trash):
Sticks/Branches - The Streets Department manages this service. They drive around the 1st full week of each month and pickup anything brought down to the curb (not directly on the road). Sometimes you can request a special pickup (at their discretion) by contacting them at 812-876-8616 or their website. This service runs from spring to early fall (usually around Labor Day through November).
Leaves - This is managed by the same department and runs from October through December. Simply pile the leaves near the curb.
